Selfridge-Embly


Kimberly A. Embly and Scott D. Selfridge were married Saturday, June 10, 2000, at the home of the bridgegroom's parents.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard H. Lange of Hagerstown. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn D. Selfridge of Martinsburg, W.Va.

The bride is a graduate of South Hagerstown High School and Washington County Career Studies Center. She is employed as a qualified dental assistant for Drs. John Stull DDS and Brandon Ellis DDS in Hagerstown.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Hedgesville High School and James Rumsey Technical Institute. He is employed as a certified welder for Frick Co. in Waynesboro, Pa.

Brown-Hardin


Elizabeth Ann Hardin and John Mark Brown were married Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001, at Berkeley Springs Presbyterian Church in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

The bride is the daughter of John and Sandy Hardin of Jackson, Tenn. The bridegroom is the son of Johnnie and Sandy Brown of Elkins, W.Va.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Elkins High School and attended Fairmont State College in Fairmont, W.Va. She is employed by Lawyer Motor Co. in Berkeley Springs.

The bridegroom is a 1994 graduate of Forest Hills High School in Elkins and attended Davis and Elkins College. He also is employed by Lawyer Motor Co.

They live in Berkeley Springs.




Bower-Keefer-Fike


Brenda K. Keefer-Fike and Clarence "Butch" Bower Jr. were married Friday, Feb. 9, 2001, on top of Hooper Strait Lighthouse in St. Michaels, Md.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Keefer Sr. of Greencastle, Pa. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bower Sr. of Coal Township, Pa.

The bride is a dental assistant with Dr. L.F. Witmer in Chambersburg, Pa.

The bridegroom is a motorcoach operator with Wolf Tours in York Springs, Pa.

They live in Waynesboro, Pa.




Kirby-Miller


Darlene Kaye Shupp Miller and David William Kirby were married Friday, June 23, 2000, at Washington County Courthouse in Hagerstown.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William S. Shupp Sr. of Falling Waters, W.Va. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Kirby Sr. of Williamsport.

The new Mrs. Kirby is employed at B&B Embroidery as an embroiderer and digitizer.

Mr. Kirby is retired from the State of Maryland.

They live in Williamsport.
