You are welcome to leave a recorded message on any subject, but some calls will be screened out.

Here are some of the calls we have received lately:

"I stood at my window and watched my neighbor walk her dog to my yard, where he made a deposit. There is an entire empty field beside her house, why use my yard? Please use the pooper scooper or I will return your dog's waste to your yard and see how you like walking in it."

"This is my opinion. I feel that anytime a convicted felon writes to a local newspaper, he should sign his name and institutional number, which they do. They should also put in their writing what they did to get locked up and what their sentence was. This will give a little insight on the people who are writing these letters."

"To the person who asked if you had to pay rent at the YMCA. Absolutely, everyone has to pay rent. I had to pay when I stayed there, for almost three years. The cost has gotten to the point where you could afford an apartment. There is always freeloaders there too, but the church pays for that."

"I want to say that I wish that the people in the 800 block of West Washington Street that sometimes sit out in the evenings, sometimes until 2 or 3 a.m. in the morning. They talk real loud and keep people awake, not only do they talk, but they do a lot of cursing. They need to be more considerate of their neighbors."

"I have found a Maryland license plate. It is the front tag, it is, HRS 729, a Maryland tag. I found it in Lakeside Trailer Park. If the owner of that tag would like to come and pick it up, it is hanging on a pine tree in front of my trailer on Lakeside Drive."

"To the person who called about the discount tickets for HersheyPark tickets and is not a AAA member. Check with Martins Supermarket, they sell them discounted every year. Check at the service desk."

"I was reading The Daily Mail on Monday, April 23 and I saw the beautiful picture on the front page of section C. Where in this area was the picture taken? The photographer's name is there, but not where the picture was taken. It is absolutely beautiful."

"Thanks to the citizens of Hagers-town for helping me keep the city sidewalks and streets clean. This is from Rhonda in Hagerstown. What you do is very much appreciated. Thanks again."

"For Sen. Munson and your secretary for everything you do. You are angels. You helped me receive the help I needed when nobody else would. You are a very dear friend and very much appreciated. Thanks."
