Two men rob Martinsburg Taco Bell



MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Two men, one of whom had a handgun, tied the hands of customers and employees of the Taco Bell on Foxcroft Avenue late Sunday before fleeing with cash, according to Martinsburg City Police.

Police said the robbers entered the store at about 10:45 p.m. Sunday and ordered three employees and two customers to the rear.

One of the robbers displayed a small snub-nosed revolver and demanded money from the manager.

The employees and customers were ordered to the floor and their hands were tied.

The employees managed to free themselves and called police.

The robbers took an undetermined amount of currency, according to police.

One of the robbers was described as being a black male about 6 feet tall and weighing 170 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans.

The second robber was described as a black male about 5 foot, 8 inches to 5 foot, 10 inches tall and weighing 230 pounds. He was dressed in dark clothes and wearing a toboggan-type hat, according to police.
