Trovinger-Michael


Fred and Sharon Shobe Trovinger of Frostburg, Md., wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelli Irene, to Brian Robert Michael, son of Eileen Michael of Silver Spring, Md. Ms. Trovinger is the granddaughter of Hilda Trovinger and Catherine Shobe, both of Hagerstown, the late Fred Trovinger Sr. and the late Robert Shobe.

Ms. Trovinger is a 1989 graduate of Beall High School in Frostburg, a 1994 graduate of Frostburg State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education, and is pursuing a graduate degree in educational leadership at Saint Leo University in Tampa, Fla. She is employed as a fifth-grade teacher at San Antonio Elementary School near Tampa.

Mr. Michael is a 1989 graduate of Albert Einstein High School in Kensington, Md., and a 1995 graduate of Frostburg State University with a bachelor's degree in business management. He is a vice president for AABCO Mortgage Co.

A June wedding is planned at Frostburg United Methodist Church.




Cline-Smith


Lisa Anne Cline and Stephen Daniel Smith wish to announce their engagement.

Miss Cline is the daughter of John and Frances Cline of Greenbackville, Va. She is a 1995 graduate of Northern High School in Chaneyville, Md., and a 1999 graduate of University of Maryland, Baltimore County, with a bachelor of science degree in mathematics. She is employed by Honeywell as an information technology troubleshooter at NASA.

Mr. Smith is the son of Jonathan and Angela Backus, and David and Dorothy Smith, all of Hagerstown. He is a 1995 graduate of South Hagerstown High School and a 1999 graduate of University of Maryland, Baltimore County, with a bachelor of science degree in biology. He is pursuing a master's degree in physical therapy at University of Maryland at Baltimore.

A summer 2002 wedding is planned.




Iseminger-Wilson


Harold and Barbara Iseminger of Halfway wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Wendy Leigh Iseminger, to James Robert Wilson Jr., son of Charlyn Wilson of Bear, Del., and the late James R. Wilson Sr.

Miss Iseminger is a 1994 graduate of South Hagerstown High School, a 1996 graduate of Hagerstown Junior College, and a 1998 graduate of Frostburg State University with a bachelor of science degree in early childhood/elementary education. She is pursuing a master's degree in reading/language arts at Loyola College. She is a sixth-grade language arts teacher at Pine Grove Middle School in Baltimore County.

Mr. Wilson is a 1986 graduate of Patterson High School in Baltimore. He attended Pennsylvania State University. He is employed at MBNA Mid-Atlantic in Hunt Valley, Md., as building manager.

A June 30 wedding in Hagerstown is planned.




Mewhort-Brosius


America A. Mewhort and Raymond G. Brosius III wish to announce their engagement.

Miss Mewhort is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Skip Mewhort of Downingtown, Pa. She is a graduate of Downingtown High School in Downingtown and will graduate from Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster, Pa., in May. She will further her education in business and marketing in January.

Mr. Brosius is the son of the Rev. and Mrs. Raymond G. Brosius Jr. of Kearneysville, W.Va. He is a graduate of Martinsburg Christian Academy in Martinsburg, W.Va., and received a degree in business management from Hagerstown Business College. He is employed at National Association of Security Dealers in Rockville, Md.

An Oct. 20 wedding is planned.




Shives-Wenger


Mr. and Mrs. Melvin J. Shives Jr. of Needmore, Pa., wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rose M. Shives, to Fred R. Wenger, son of Patricia A. Wenger of Mercersburg, Pa., and the late Lawrence M. Wenger.

Ms. Shives is a 1981 graduate of Southern Fulton Junior-Senior High School in Warfordsburg, Pa., and a 1996 graduate of James Rumsey Technical Institute in Martinsburg, W.Va., with a one-year diploma in nursing.

Mr. Wenger is a 1987 graduate of James Buchanan High School in Mercersburg. He served in the U.S. Army for eight years.

Garrett-Godlove


Summer Garrett and Randy Godlove, both of Williamsport, wish to announce their engagement.

Ms. Garrett is the daughter of Boyd and Georgia McRinsey of Williamsport.

Mr. Godlove is the son of Larry and Debbie Godlove of Williamsport.
