Jeaneen E. Anderson


FALLING WATERS, W.Va. - Jeaneen Elaine Anderson, 40, of 100 Imperial Way, died Thursday, April 19, 2001, at City Hospital in Martinsburg, W.Va.

Born Sept. 21, 1960, in Frederick, Md., she was the daughter of the late John B. and Betty E. Abrecht Eppley.

She was employed by CM Offray and Son/Maryland Ribbon in Hagerstown.

She was a Lutheran.

She is survived by two daughters, Christy Marie Parks of Frederick and Amy K. Anderson at home; a son, Donny R. Anderson Jr. at home; two sisters, Jody Ann Schatz of Frederick and Betty Jane Eppley of Brunswick, Md.; two brothers, Marshall M. Eppley of Hedgesville, W.Va., and Patrick U. Eppley of Hagerstown; a grandson; and her close friend, Thomas Wallace of Falling Waters.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St. in Williamsport. The Rev. Peter Whitting will officiate. Burial will be in Shanktown Cemetery in Big Pool, Md.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, which will open at 9 a.m.

Harold W. Hamilton


CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Harold W. Hamilton, 70, of 345 E. Queen St., who died Thursday, April 19, 2001, is survived by three sisters, Mary Schooley of McConnellsburg, Pa., Mildred Garcia of Altadena, Calif., and Mable Baer of Roxbury, Pa.




Mary E. Hennesy


Mary Elizabeth Hennesy, 85, formerly of 125 Belview Ave., Hagerstown died Thursday, April 19, 2001, at Beverly Health Care, 750 Dual Highway in Hagerstown.

Born Dec. 20, 1915, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Thomas B. and Mary B. McKenzie Smith.

Her husband, Russell Omer Hennesy, died in February 1997.

She had been employed by the Washington County Board of Education as a school crossing guard.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hagerstown.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan E. Schildt of Washington, Ill.; a son, Thomas R. Hennesy of Hagerstown; a sister, Margaret Crawford of Hagerstown; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas B. Smith, and a grandchild.

Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown. The Rev. Don R. Stevenson will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Helen V. Pittman


MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Helen Virginia Pittman, 88, of Martinsburg, died Thursday, April 19, 2001, at Heartland of Martinsburg.

Born May 9, 1912, in Hedgesville, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hattie Kees Shipper.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. J.L. Pittman.

She was a member of Hedgesville Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by five stepdaughters, Margaret Barnhart of Martinsburg, Ruth Abbott of Rockford, Ill., Betty Bowers of Los Angeles, Goldie Canby of Martinsburg and Anna Lloyd of Marlowe, W.Va.; a stepson, the Rev. Joseph Pittman of Hagerstown; a sister, Elsie Hayes of Jones Springs, W.Va.; and 18 step-grandchildren.

Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St. in Martinsburg. The Rev. Paul C. Stanley will officiate. Burial will be in Hedgesville Assembly of God Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.




Bruce W. Webber


MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Bruce William Webber, 75, of Martinsburg, died Friday, April 20, 2001, at City Hospital in Martinsburg.

Born Dec. 7, 1925, in Berkeley County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Robert Hencil and Nellie Barbour Webber.

He was a 1944 graduate of Bunker Hill High School.

He retired as owner of Webber's Auto Body Shop.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.

He was a member of Martinsburg Lodge 120 Loyal Order of the Moose and Berkeley Post 14 American Legion.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty Lou Dunham Webber; a daughter, Martha Sue Reuss of Martinsburg; a son, David Bruce Webber of Gerrardstown, W.Va.; a sister, Betty Lee McAtee of Martinsburg; and two grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood. The Revs. James D. Riley Jr. and Oliver Custer will officiate. Burial will be in Gerrardstown Presbyterian Cemetery with military graveside services by Veterans Combined Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral chapel.

Oliver F. Snyder


Oliver Franklin Snyder, 79, of 13834 Long Ridge Drive, Hagerstown, died Thursday, April 19, 2001, at Washington County Hospital.

Born Aug. 27, 1921, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late John Jacob Snyder Sr. and Mary Williams Snyder.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Force.
