Halfway Little League

Gehr 10, Hoffman 3: Justin Bussard and Derrick Wolfensberger combined for a four-hitter and 10 strikeouts for Gehr. Bussard, Wolfensberger and Kory Harp each had two hits for the winners. Ryan Heavner had two hits for Hoffman.

West End Little League

Coca-Cola 11, Elks 1: Dustin Boward had four hits and Zack Koontz homered to lead Coca-Cola. Josh Ocasio had two hits for Elks.

Federal Little League

Rotary 17, Lions 2: Cody Nelling had three hits and Mark Dattilio and Colin McWilliams added two hits each for Rotary.


American Little League

FOP 4, Eagles 3: Billy Shubert, Justin Myers and Curtis Harbaugh combined for nine strikeouts and Harbaugh scored the game-winning run for FOP. Tyler Ernde struck out nine in a three-hitter for Elks.

South Mountain Little League

Nationwide 4, Post 10 1: David Harmon struck out 11 in a one-hitter and also hit a two-run homer to lead Nationwide. Josh Miller also had two hits.

Jerry's Sports and Designs Unlimited 20, Town Center 10: Clayton Blank struck out five and had four hits along with Matthew Jones to lead Jerry's. Adam Griffith had three hits and Courtney Long had two for Jerry's. Sean Wynkoop and Adam Stephens each had two hits for Town Center.

Clear Spring Minor League

Cubs 10, Yankees 8: Jacob Fitz, Jeremy Bond, Brandon Schildtknecht, Taylor Leonard and Dustin Schrader all had two hits for the Cubs. Austin McCoy had two hits for the Yankees.

Valley Little League

Hagerstown Spring and Alignment 5, Total Lube 0: Kevin Tyler threw a no-hitter with 14 strikeouts and Ryan Lipella drove in two runs for Hagerstown Spring and Alignment. Eddy Dorsey threw a two-hitter with nine strikeouts for Total Lube.

Maugansville Little League

Maugans Oil 26, Maugansville Ruritan 7: Ron Glazer and Nick Clements each had four hits and Corey McCarney had three for Maugans Oil. Jordan Hatfield, Nathan Frutkoff, Jerry Bussard and Adam Merrbaugh each added two hits.

Carbaugh's 8, Spicher's Appliances 6: Corey Bricker and Andrew Merrbaugh each had two hits for Carbaugh's. Trevor Cobb and Andy Wise each had two hits for Spicher's.

Shawley's 7, Ruritan 6: Steve Mays had three hits, while Shawn Palmer, Donny Fox and winning pitcher Mike Hamby each had two for Shawley's. Steve Schutte homered for Ruritan.

Washington Co. Girls Softball

Larry Allen 15, Quad State Thrillers 5: Courtney Hutchinson had three hits, including a grand slam, while Ana Weir and Casey Saller each had two hits for Larry Allen.

Larry Allen 10, Ernst Market 9: Lindsay Aaronson had three hits, while Ana Weir and Courtney Hutchinson each had two for Larry Allen. Lindsay Fielder and Katie Norris each had two hits for Ernst Market.

JimCo 13, FOP 6: Aimee Barton and Carrissa Chaney each had three hits for JimCo.

Conomac Lions 11, Town Center Pizza 8: Jenny Houser, Sarah Green and Beth Ryan all had three hits to lead Lions.

Conococheague Little League

Taylor Trucking 6, Post 202 2: Ryan Secrist had two hits including one home run for Taylor Trucking. Andrew Twigg pitched a complete game with 13 strikeouts for Post 202.
