Jean E. Hill

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Jean E. Hill, 83, of Manor Care and formerly of 200 N. Main St., Apt. 305, died Wednesday, April 18, 2001, at Manor Care Health Services.

Born Jan. 17, 1918, in Fulton County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Claude M. and Lillie V. Eader Hill.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Chambersburg.

She is survived by three sisters, Elsie H. Gobin of Chambersburg, Evelyn J. Souders of McConnellsburg, Pa. and Patricia F. Kitzmiller of Newburg, Pa.; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.

Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road in Chambersburg. The Rev. Rodney C. Truax will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in McConnellsburg.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Bette J. Reed

SYKESVILLE, Md. - Bette Jane Reed, 75, of Gaither Manor Apartments, died Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at Northwest Hospital in Randallstown, Md.

Born March 4, 1926, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Leon Leslie and Dorothy Pearl Burger.

She owned and operated Bette's Cake Box in Eldersburg, Md.

She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Shipley, Md.

She was a member of Hagerstown CB Club.

She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Suder of Sykesville; four grandsons, Richard Winson of Gamber, Md., Ronald Winson of Shipley, Leon Winson of Mount Airy, Md. and Elroy Winson Jr. of Montana; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. in Hagerstown. The Rev. Roger H. Strait will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Hagerstown.

The family will receive friends Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.




M. Jane Molnar

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - M. Jane Molnar, 82, of Martinsburg, died Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at her home.

Born Nov. 30, 1918, in McKeesport, Pa., she was the daughter of the late James C. and Bessie Johnson Brenner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Molnar.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by a sister, Eleanor Brown of Martinsburg.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Viola Ryan; and two brothers, James William Brenner and Martin Luther Brenner.

Services will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St. in Martinsburg. The Rev. James D. Riley Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Robert T. Louden

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Robert T. Louden, 69, of Martinsburg, died Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at City Hospital.

Born April 9, 1932, in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Mary E. Shirley Louden.

He retired from Corning Glass.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Mae Rowland Louden; a son, Thomas C. Louden of Atlanta; two sisters, Pat Stroop of Gerrardstown, W.Va. and Jean Thompson of Hagerstown; a brother, Kenneth Louden of Shepherdstown, W.Va.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son and three sisters.

Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood, W.Va. The Rev. Edward T. Reckner will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Gerrardstown.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at South Berkeley Chapel.

Julia C. Henson

FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Julia Cashman Koogle Henson, 85, of Caledonia Manor, and formerly of 114 W. Second St. and 11 S. Phillips Ave., both in Waynesboro, Pa., died Sunday, April 15, 2001, at Caledonia Manor.

Born July 17, 1915, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late George Henry and Nora Adella Cashman Koogle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilson James Henson, in 1984. They were married Dec. 9, 1939.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Regina Elizabeth Eckard and Mary Magadeline Clappaddle; and two brothers, George Edward Koogle and John Denis Koogle.

Graveside services will be today at 10 a.m. at Green Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Joseph Carolin will officiate.

There will be no public visitation.

Arrangements are by Lochstampfor Funeral Home, Waynesboro.




William K. Blevins

William Kyle Blevins, 72, of 18222 Shawley Drive in Hagerstown, died Wednesday, April 18, 2001, at his home.

Born July 16, 1928, in Pine Creek, N.C., he was the son of the late William Stewart and Carrie M. Hurley Blevins.
