Police investigate bank robbery in Franklin County
SCOTLAND, Pa. - A man who displayed a gun robbed a local bank Monday afternoon, according to police.
The robber entered Citizen's National Bank in the Chambersburg Mall at 12:15 p.m. and demanded money from a teller, police said.
The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money, and the robber left through the front door, police said.
The man is described as a white male, 40 to 50 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall with brown hair. He was wearing a blue baseball hat with white letters on the front and a blue ski jacket with a forest greet t-shirt, blue jeans and sneakers, police said.
An investigation is continuing, police said.
