Police investigate death of Falling Waters man

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - The death of a Falling Waters man was being investigated by Berkeley County Sheriff's deputies after he was found in his vehicle early Tuesday, according to a police report.

The body of William McJunkin, no age available, was found at around 7:30 a.m., according to Sheriff Randy Smith. His death was being treated as an "unattended death," which is routine in such cases, Smith said.

"A neighbor found him sitting in his car" in Albemarle Estates in Falling Waters, Smith said. Rescue personnel were called, then the deputies.

"There doesn't appear to be anything suspicious at this time," Smith said.

The body was sent to the state medical examiner's office in Morgantown to determine a cause of death, Smith said.
