Washington County is looking for volunteers to serve on county boards.

"We are always looking for citizens who want to become involved in local government," Washington County Administrator Rodney Shoop said Wednesday.

"This is a way they can become part of local government and participate in the decision-making process that goes on," he said

While some boards may have the needed number of appointees, files are kept with the names of those interested in future appointments.
