The National Association of Elementary School Principals will sponsor a toll-free education hotline staffed by principals and school psychologists Sunday, April 8, from 2 to10 p.m.; Monday, April 9, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Tuesday, April 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The hotline was established to foster a closer home-school connection by answering questions on education and children.
Call toll-free 1-800-944-1601 or go to the association's Web site at www.naesp.org to e-mail a question.
Topics can include school readiness, communication difficulties, special education, discipline, homework and violence in school.
Callers will receive the free booklet, "What Parents Should Look For in Their Child's Elementary School."
