Poster contest

Sponsored by The Coalition for Skin Cancer Prevention in Maryland

Maryland students in kindergarten through grade 12 are eligible.

The entry deadline is Friday, April 27. Prizes will be awarded Monday, May 7.


Contest posters must be no larger than 16 inches by 20 inches and should show why and how to protect the skin from the sun's damaging rays. Entrants should send their posters with their name, address, phone number,

e-mail address, school and grade to Poster Contest, Coalition for Skin Cancer in Maryland, 1211 Cathedral St., Baltimore, Md. 21201.

Prizes will be awarded during a press conference at MedChi, the Maryland State Medical Society in Baltimore. The first-place winner will receive a $100 U.S. savings bond, will appear on Fox 45-TV, and have a class pizza party with SunGuard Man. The second-place winner will receive a $50 U.S. savings bond and a SunGuard Man T-shirt.
