Baker-Barkdoll


Jason Allen Barkdoll and Jessica Brooke Baker wish to announce their engagement.

Ms. Baker is the daughter of Mark and Diane Baker of Hagerstown, and Teri Baker of Williamsport. She is a 1999 graduate of Williamsport High School and is studying radiography at Hagerstown Community College. She is employed by Hopewell Sheet Metal Manufacturing Inc. and by J.C. Penney Co. Inc., both in Hagerstown.

Mr. Barkdoll is the son of Jerry Barkdoll of Boonsboro and Christine Barkdoll of Hagerstown. He is a 1996 graduate of Boonsboro High School. He is employed by Food Lion Distribution Center in Greencastle, Pa., and is co-owner of Kornerstone Farms.

A July 19, 2003, wedding is planned.




Burkholder-Lentine


Gregory Scott Lentine and Sarah Frances Burkholder wish to announce their engagement.

Ms. Burkholder is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Burkholder of Mount Pleasant, S.C. She is a 1997 graduate of Wanda High School in South Carolina and is a junior at College of Charleston in South Carolina.

Mr. Lentine is the son of Barbara Lentine of Shepherdstown, W.Va., and Charles Lentine. He is a 1994 graduate of Jefferson High School and a 2000 graduate of West Virginia University.

An April 2002 wedding is planned.




Stotelmyer-Gilroy


Terry and Jackie Stotelmyer of Hagerstown wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Cynthia Marie Stotelmyer, to David Bruce Gilroy, son of Pat and Diane Gilroy of Hagerstown.

Ms. Stotelmyer is a 1996 graduate of South Hagerstown High School and is pursuing an associate of applied science degree in computer applications at Hagerstown Business College. She is employed with Citicorp Credit Services.

Mr. Gilroy is a 1993 graduate of South Hagerstown High School. He is employed with Hatch and Kirk.

A Sept. 15 wedding is planned.




Raikes-Hull


Timothy George Hull and Laura Christine Raikes wish to announce their engagement.

Ms. Raikes is the daughter of Daniel DiVito of Hagerstown and Linda Thorp of Sierra Vista, Ariz. She is a 1990 graduate of St. Maria Goretti High School and is a radiography student at Hagerstown Community College.

Mr. Hull is the son of Dennis Hull of Clear Spring and Sandra Hull of Hagerstown. He attended South Hagerstown High School. He is employed by the State of Maryland.

An April 15 wedding is planned.




Cool-Lyons


Mr. and Mrs. Allen R. Cool wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Elizabeth, to Dougles Patrick Lyons, son of Rosemary Lyons of Frederick, Md.

Ms. Cool received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Frostburg State University. She is employed as director of administration at MS Interior Designs in Laurel, Md.

Mr. Lyons is a sales/finance manager at Len Stoler Chevrolet-Cadillac-Buick in Westminster, Md.

A summer wedding is planned.




Shank-Bender


Dennis and Cecelia Shank of Hagerstown announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Joy, to Craig Lee Bender, son of Timothy and Linda Bender of State Line, Pa.

Ms. Shank is a 1996 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and is majoring in fashion at Shepherd College. She is employed at The Bon-Ton department store in Hagerstown.

Mr. Bender is a 1995 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School. He is employed as an electrician with CBS Electric in Hagerstown.

A May 12 wedding is planned.




DeHaan-Herd


Larry and Cathi DeHaan of Hagerstown wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Leigh DeHaan, to Jason Michael Herd, son of James and Donna Herd of Hagerstown.

Ms. DeHaan is a 2000 graduate of Highland View Academy and plans to attend Andrews University in the fall.

Mr. Herd is a 1995 graduate of Highland View Academy and plans to attend Andrews University in the fall.

A July 22 wedding is planned.

Ms. Moser is the daughter of Pauline Moser and Richard Moser, both of Hagerstown.

Mr. Hutzell is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Rhodes of Fairplay.
