"Someone Like You" (PG-13) - Jane Goodale has everything going for her. She's a producer on a popular daytime talk show and is in a hot romance with the show's dashing executive, Ray. But when the relationship goes awry, Jane begins a study of the male animal in an attempt to understand how and why she was jilted. Ashley Judd, Greg Kinnear, Hugh Jackman, Ellen Barkin and Marisa Tomei star in this romantic comedy.

"Spy Kids" (NR) - Nobody imagined that two of the world's top secret agents would get married, settle down and start a family. When they are kidnapped, only their children, using high-tech gadgetry, can save them. This family comedy stars Antonio Banderas, Alan Cumming, Carla Gugino, Teri Hatcher and Cheech Marin.

The cost for Washington County residents is $19.

The course is geared toward Washington County high school females who may be interested in engineering-related careers and also is open to college women. A variety of engineering options will be explored, and a day trip to Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab is planned.

The Safety Bug demonstration

The Safety Bug is a 1999 VW Beetle that has been equipped to simulate driving impairment. It will delay braking and will drift from side to side as the "impaired" driver attempts to maneuver a predetermined course.

Officers from Hagerstown Police Department will perform a field sobriety test on individuals who drive the vehicle.

The cost is $80 for YMCA members, or $105 for nonmembers. Books are not included.

Participants must be 15 years old or older.

Times are Friday, April 6, 6 to 8 p.m.; Saturday, April 7, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, April 8, 2 to 6 p.m.

Business plan contest

Sponsored by Entrepreneur Council of Frederick County

Open to Frederick County high school seniors

Entry deadline is Sunday, April 15.

Prizes include $750, $500 and $250 checks. Winners will be featured at an awards banquet Thursday, May 24.

No entry fee is required.

Applicants must submit a business plan describing a business they would like to start and should be prepared to deliver an oral presentation about their plan and to field questions from an interviewing panel.
