Boston Brass concert



Hagerstown Community Concert Association will present the last concert of its current series Wednesday, March 21 at 8 p.m. at The Maryland Theatre, 21 S. Potomac St. in Hagerstown.

The performance will be by the Boston Brass quintet which will present a wide range of musical arrangements from Baroque and Opera to Pop and Jazz.

The quintet consists of Richard Kelly, trumpet; Jeff Conner, trumpet; Ed Clough trombone; J.D. Shaw, horn; and Randy Montgomery, tuba.

The Hagerstown Community Concert Association is conducting its membership campaign for the 2001-2002 season which opens in October. These concerts are being scheduled for the upcoming season: Joe Burgstaller, trumpet soloist; Chinese Golden Dragon Acrobats; Jennifer Frautschi, violin soloist; and Manhattan Rhythm Kings trio.

The March 21 performance is a free bonus concert to new subscribers to the new concert series.

The season subscription price is $32 for adults and $10 for students. A subscription membership admits purchasers to all four Hagerstown concerts as well as to the performances held by the community concert associations of Waynesboro, Pa., Chambersburg, Pa., Gettysburg, Pa., and Westminster, Md.
