Child abuse dangers highlighted

The Exchange Club of Hagerstown, Antietam Exchange and the Parent-Child Center are joining with nearly 1,000 Exchange Clubs across the country to create greater public awareness of the seriousness of child abuse and what can be done to prevent it.

The Parent-Child Center will air its 13th annual telethon on NBC-25 April 7 from noon to 3 p.m. The purpose of the telethon is to raise money for the center, which offers programs on the prevention of child abuse.
