Kathleen V. Kellaher

Kathleen Viola Morris Kellaher, 67, of Avalon Manor Nursing Home, and formerly of Greenbelt, Md., died Sunday, March 11, 2001, at Washington County Hospital.

Born Jan. 17, 1934, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Elijah and Hazel Bowers Morris.

She was formerly employed as a recruiter for Julliard Gibson Modeling Agency in Washington, D.C.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by two daughters, Laura Miller and Kathy Rhoderick, both of Hagerstown; one son, William Joseph Kellaher of Hagerstown; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Junior Morris and Larry Morris.

A memorial service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the home of her daughter, 10323 White Hall Road, in Hagerstown. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at her daughter's home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Maryland Chapter, Western Maryland Branch, 5 Public Square, Hagerstown, MD 21740.

Arrangements are by Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro.




Franklin A. Keeney

WILLIAMSPORT - Franklin Anthony "Frank" Keeney, 75, of 15530 Clear Spring Road, and formerly of Staunton, Va., died Monday, March 12, 2001, at Beverly Manor Health Care in Hagerstown.

Born April 17, 1925, in Frederick, Md., he was the son of the late Leslie and Minnie Bell Wetzel Keeney.

His wife, Betty Susan Bair Keeney, died in 1995.

He retired from Western State Mental Hospital in Staunton; and had been employed by Stainless Steel Co. in Staunton.

He was a member of Calvary Temple in Williamsport; and a previous member of Church of God in Staunton.

He is survived by one sister, Catherine Gossard of Williamsport; and his caretaker and sister-in-law, Alta L. Carbaugh of Williamsport.

He was preceded in death by one son, Dennis Franklin Keeney; six brothers, James Henry Keeney, Harling Keeney, Adam Keeney, Robert Keeney, Oscar Keeney and Grayson Keeney; and three sisters, Hypatia Hott, Mabel Keeney and Ellen Keeney.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport. The Revs. Daniel Shifflett Sr. and Robert V. Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will be open after 9 a.m.




Kacie L. Fath

BOONSBORO - Kacie LeAnn Fath, 6, of 19812 Lemuel Lane, died Sunday, March 11, 2001, at Johns Hopkins Children's Hospital in Baltimore.

Born Aug. 15, 1994, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Randy and Donna Smith Fath.

She was a first-grade student at Greenbrier Elementary School.

She was a member of Boonsboro Bible Church.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Thomas and Dorothy Fath of Boonsboro; maternal grandfather and stepgrandmother, Terry and Vicky Smith of Boonsboro; maternal grandmother and stepgrandfather, Gloria and Wayne Kline of Boonsboro; maternal great-grandmother, Rachel Smith of Hagerstown; maternal stepgreat-grandmother, Nancy Cook of Mercersburg, Pa.; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Boonsboro Bible Church, 6731 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. The Revs. Robert D. Welty and Gerry Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Boonsboro Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, in Boonsboro.

Lottie M. Hose

WILLIAMSPORT - Lottie Mae "Lucy" Hose, 67, of Williamsport, died Monday, March 12, 2001, at Clearview Nursing Home.

Born March 11, 1934, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late George William and May Beal Saunders Gifford.

Her husband, John David Hose, died in 1985.

She retired from Cedar Ridge Children's Home after 15 years. She was previously employed by Corning Glass in Greencastle, Pa., and Hagerstown Shoe Co.

She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She was a member of AARP Chapter 623, volunteered with New Beginnings Drug Program, and traveled with B&B Travel Club as a hostess.

She is survived by cousins, Fred and Mary Zybell of Point Marion, Pa., Earl and Gwinn Saunders and Albert Saunders Jr., all of Baltimore.

Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.

There will be no viewing.
