FREDERICK, Md. - Jermaine Thomas had a game-high 22 points and 12 rebounds as Thomas Johnson bombed Kennedy in the second and third quarters for a 66-45 victory Monday night in the Class 3A West quarterfinals.

Joe Higbee added 14 points and Tyler Wingerd scored 12 for Thomas Johnson (17-5, No. 4 Herald-Mail poll), which advances to Wednesday's semifinals at North Hagerstown.

Marshall Mills led Southern Fulton (23-3) with 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Andrew Hendershot added 10 points and nine rebounds.

WALKERSVILLE, Md. - Jeremy Snyder scored seven of his team's eight points in overtime lifting Fort Hill over Walkersville in Class 2A West quarterfinal action.

Snyder's scoring in OT offset Walkersville's rally from the 16-9 deficit in the first quarter. Walkersville (11-13) outscored Fort Hill 19-12 in the second quarter to take a one-point lead at halftime.

Fort Hill scored the first four points in OT to gain the win.

Cory Hoffman led Walkersville with 21 points.
