Frederick man out of hospital after stabbing

A 28-year-old Frederick, Md., man was discharged from Washington County Hospital Sunday evening after being stabbed at a Berkeley County, W.Va., club in the early morning hours Sunday.

Mark Randolph, 1355 David Lane, Frederick, was stabbed three times, twice in the back and once in the arm, according to an account released by the West Virginia State Police. The incident occurred about 3 a.m. Sunday outside The Tunnel Club on W.Va. 9 outside Martinsburg, W.Va,, police said. Randolph was taken first to City Hospital, then transferred to Washington County Hospital. He was then released from the hospital, a hospital spokesman said Sunday evening.

Randolph was stabbed during a fight in the parking lot near the entrance to the bar while people were leaving the building, according to the report. The incident involved five to nine black males, the report said.

Everyone involved in the fight fled the scene in a green Honda Accord with West Virginia license plates, according to witness reports. Police are most interested in talking to a black male who was wearing a black and gold football-type jersey with a number on it.
