HEIGHT="6" ALT="* "> North American Rod and Gun Club will grant a $500 scholarship to a student majoring in conservation, environment, wildlife studies or a closely related field of study. The applicant must present a letter of acceptance to an accredited university, college, community college or technical school. Applicants must be a member or dependent of a member of North American Rod and Gun Club. Application forms are available at the club office or by calling 301-739-4440. Applications must be received by Thursday, March 15.

HEIGHT="6" ALT="* "> FREDERICK, Md. - The Community Foundation of Frederick County Inc. is accepting scholarship applications for the 2001-2002 academic year. The foundation manages a number of endowed scholarship funds and has provided educational assistance since its inception in 1986. All scholarships are for full-time students who are Frederick County residents, unless otherwise noted, and awards are determined by the foundation's scholarship committee and board of trustees. Students may apply for all of the scholarships on one application. Completed applications are due at the Community Foundation office, 312 E. Church St., Frederick, Md., 21701, no later than 5 p.m. Friday, March 30.

HEIGHT="6" ALT="* "> Latingirl Magazine announces the third annual Latingirl Scholarship sponsored by Clean & Clear.

Ten winners will be awarded $1,000 each. Application deadline is Wednesday, April 18. Applicants must be of Hispanic descent, female and a graduating high school senior. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic achievement, financial need and a 400-word essay containing personal goals that include either the purpose of community service performed and its impact or the significance of their Hispanic heritage on their life.

HEIGHT="6" ALT="* "> Mountain View Reclamation and Waste Management of Pennsylvania, in cooperation with Citizens Advisory Board of Antrim and Montgomery townships, invite high school seniors who are residents of Greencastle-Antrim School District or Montgomery Township to apply for a one-time scholarship award.

A $4,000 award will be distributed among one to four high school seniors form Greencastle-Antrim School District, and a $4,000 award will be distributed among one to four seniors from Montgomery Township.

Applications may be obtained at local high schools or from Lee Zimmerman by calling 1-717-597-4056. Submission of all materials, including personal recommendations, must be postmarked no later than Friday, March 16.

The announcement of successful applicants will be made at end-of-the-school year awards assemblies.
