Men charged in prostitution sting

Hagerstown City Police arrested three men in an undercover prostitution sting recently in the area of Prospect and West Washington streets.

Jerrard Anthony Jones, 24, 655 Hayes Ave., Hagerstown, Ronald West Harshman, 51, 11807 Clearview Road, Hagerstown and William Allen Potts, 62, 622 Guilford Ave., Hagerstown were each charged with solicitation for prostitution.

Jones was also charged with possession of marijuana, police said.

Bond information was unavailable Sunday evening.

Pa. man injured in ATV accident on ice

FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - A Fayetteville man is in serious condition at York Hospital after he was thrown from his all-terrain vehicle early Sunday morning, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Jeremy Crum, 21, of Fayetteville, suffered a severe head injury when he lost control of his four-wheel ATV on an icy Kettlespring Road in Guilford Township between 2 and 5 a.m., police said.

Crum and his passenger, Jeffrey Miller, of Biglerville, Pa., were both thrown from the vehicle.

Crum was not wearing a helmet and was flown to York Hospital.

Miller was wearing a helmet and was transported by the Fayetteville Fire Department to Chambersburg Hospital for minor injuries, police said.

He was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
