All these liberal lobbyists pay big money and the outgoing administration, if you will admit it, were gratified greatly. Clinton's friends like Mr. Rich will share some of his dirty money.
One hundred thousand dollars per speech twice a month, who's that dumb to endure such punishment?
People need to smarten up around here. If Clinton lied once he lied a thousand times. Do you enjoy a lie? Clinton laughs at you and lies and has one hand in your pocket. P.T. Barnum said there's one born every minute. You know what I mean!

Don't confuse fiction with fact
To the editor:
I recently previewed a movie that was released in our community called "Left Behind," an apocalyptic thriller, based on a best-selling book of the same name.
As a devout Bible follower belonging to the Seventh-day Adventist Church and pastor of one of our local congregations, I can find no support for the concept of a secret rapture in the Bible, nor the second chance for salvation that the movie depicts. Bible believers can refer to Revelation, chapters 19-22, for a clear picture of what will happen when the Lord returns.
Some will excuse the book and movie as mere entertainment. I am writing, in part, because I am concerned about entertainment becoming so real to some that they believe this fiction as fact.
I know that by mentioning this issue, it will drive some to view the movie that might have otherwise ignored it. However, I couldn't remain silent and let this kind of deception needlessly confuse truth seekers.
I will be pleased to discuss this movie, the issue of the secret rapture, or other end-time Bible issues with anyone interested. I can be reached at my church office at (301-733-4411).

Women, stay clothed
To the editor:
Won't liberals ever face reality? I've just finished reading Ms. Sweeny's letter of Jan. 7, and I can't figure out where she gets the figures to support her cliam that the majority of Americans do not support John Ashcroft or Gail Norton.
When we voted for Bush we certainly expected a conservative cabinet to be nominated. As for the services she says women take for granted such as family planning, maybe these women should plan to keep their clothes on until they are able to start a family without being a burden on society.
She also says that we should support family planning overseas. This money would be better spent here controlling the illegal population growth that occurs everytime an illegal immigrant crosses our border. The Democratic party certianly has the right symbol - the Jackass.
