Lemasters man charged in relation to sex crimes
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A Lemasters, Pa., man has been charged with various sexual crimes, including the rape of a young boy, Pennsylvania State Police said.
The 35-year-old man is charged with rape, indecent assault and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, police said. The man is not being named to protect the identity of the victim.
The man was arraigned by District Justice Gary Carter Thursday morning. He was in Franklin County Prison Thursday afternoon on $200,000.
The charges stem from a 3-year relationship the man had with a boy, beginning when he was 5, police allege.
The last incident was about two weeks ago, police alleged.
The child, now 7, told police Thursday that the man inappropriately touched him more than once and made the boy touch him several times, according to allegations in the affidavit of probable cause.
