MODESTO, Calif. - Highland View Academy finished 4-1 in the Modesto Invitational Sunday, including a victory over the hosts, tying Modesto for the best record in the round-robin event.

After dropping the opening game on Friday, HVA (6-13) won the final four games. HVA defeated Golden Gate, 57-41, Mounatin View, 50-45, and Modesto, 42-36. In the games against Mountain View and Modesto, HVA held their opponents to five second-half points.

Senior Dwight Wise scored 33 points in the final four games for HVA, while teammate Sean Edwards added 42 points.
