After Wible was placed in the back of the patrol car, he kicked the rear passenger window, damaging the window guide track, she said.
Wible was released on his own recognizance on Saturday, according to the Washington County District Court Commissioner's office.
W.Va. fugitive is picked up
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - A Martinsburg man, who was a fugitive wanted by the Hanover, Pa., Borough Police Department, was picked up by Martinsburg City Police late Friday night, police said.
French Woodrow Bell Jr., 47, of 112 N. Church St., was charged as a fugitive from justice for involuntary deviate sexual intercourse/indecent assault, police said.
Bell was being held at the Eastern Regional Jail on Saturday night awaiting arraignment, police said.
Armored car rolls over into cornfield
WALKERSVILLE, Md. - The driver and passenger of an armored vehicle were treated and released from Frederick Memorial Hospital on Saturday after the armored vehicle ended up on its side in a cornfield, officials said.
The armored vehicle from AT Systems Co. was carrying U.S. currency east on Biggs Ford Road near Retreat Road shortly after 12:30 p.m. when it crossed the center line and entered the cornfield, rolling over, according to the Frederick County Sheriff's Office.
Police do not know why the vehicle went off the road.
Rescue crews had to cut the armored vehicle open to get to the passenger, Joseph Johnson III, 32, address unavailable, police said. The driver was Clarice S. Melvin, 21, of Baltimore, police said.
Two men held on drug charges
FREDERICK, Md. - A Baltimore man and a Frederick man were arrested early Saturday on drug charges, according to Frederick City Police.
A police report said officers charged Raynard Dorell Bradley, 24, of Baltimore, with distribution of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and possession of a controlled substance.
Police charged James Franklin Cook, 20, of Frederick, with possession of a controlled substance, crack cocaine, the report said.
The two were arrested about 3 a.m. in the area of South Market and East All Saints streets.
Frederick police also arrested a 28-year-old Frederick man in a separate incident on drug-related charges.
Theodore Belton as arrested about 2:20 a.m. Saturday in the area of the John Hanson Apartments.
Belton was charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine and distribution of crack cocaine, police said.
Post office damaged
The Burnt Cabins Post Office in Dublin Township, Pa., was damaged last week in a hit and run incident, Pennsylvania State Police said Saturday.
The building's porch and downspouts were damaged, police said. No damage estimate was available.
Gate at I-81 weigh station damaged
GUILFORD TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police reported Friday that the front gate of the southbound Interstate 81 weigh station had been damaged.
No further information was available.
