Can't afford the screening? Here's where you can get help



Washington County Health Department

Women's Health Services offers free Pap tests, pelvic and breast exams for women of all ages at its clinics in Hagerstown, Hancock and Keedysville.

Appointments are recommended. Call 301-791-3296.

Private physicians also provide screening through the county's Breast and Cervical Cancer Program. For information, call 301-791-3235.

In Pennsylvania, Pap tests, pelvic and breast exams are provided free for income-eligible women. There also is an income-based sliding fee scale.

Pennsylvania's Healthy Women program provides Pap tests and mammograms for income-eligible women older than 50.

In West Virginia, Pap tests, pelvic and breast exams are provided free for income-eligible women ages 25 and older. The state's Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program also provides screening mammograms for eligible women.
