Army National Guard Pfc. Jeremy M. Creason, son of William D. and Diane L. Creason of Martinsburg, W.Va., has graduated from basic Military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Creason is a 2000 graduate of Hedgesville High School, Hedgesville, W.Va.

Army Lt. Col. Dorothy T. Johnson, daughter of Robert M. Cannon of Frederick, Md., has been selected to attend the U.S. Army War College at Carlisle Barracks, Carlisle, Pa.

Johnson is an inspector general assigned to Headquarters Military Traffic Management Command in Falls Church, Va. She is a 1974 graduate of Frederick High School, and received a bachelor's degree in 1978 from Western Maryland College, Westminster, Md. She earned a master's degree in 1991 from the University of Dayton, Ohio.

Army Staff Sgt. Delmar O. Olson Jr., brother of Johnnie E.D. Olson of Hagerstown, has arrived for duty at the Vilseck-Grafenwoehr Military Community in Germany. Olson is a signal support systems specialist and assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 63rd Armor in Vilseck.

Army Pvt. Natasha M. Arnold, daughter of John A. Arnold of Rockville, Md., and Kim L. Arnold of Frederick, Md., has graduated from basic military training at Fort Leonard Wood, Waynesville, Mo. Arnold is a 2000 graduate of Rockville High School.

Army Pvt. David W. Turner, son of Darlene K. Turner and David W. Turner, both of Hagerstown, has arrived for duty at the Vilseck-Grafenwoehr Military Community in Germany. Turner is a M1 Abrams tank system mechanic and assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 63rd Armor in Vilseck.

Navy Seaman Mark W. Catanese, son of Cheri and Anthony Catanese of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., recently participated in the Navy's Bluejacket Hometown Area Recruiting Program (HARP) while assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion One, Gulfport, Miss.

Catanese is a 1999 graduate of Jefferson High School, Shenandoah Junction, W.Va. He joined the Navy in June 1999.

Marine Corps Reserve Pvt. Ronald E. Schroeter Jr., son of Frances N. and Ronald N. Schroeter of Mount Airy, Md., recently completed the Basic Electrician's Course. Schroeter is a 1998 graduate of Mount St. Joseph High School, Baltimore. Schroeter joined the Marine Corps Reserve in December 1999.

Army Reserve Pvt. Aaron E. Dillon, son of Deanna Dillon and Dennis Dillon, both of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Knox, Ky. Dillon is currently attending Berkeley High School.

Pvt. David Lee Harbaugh II, son of David and Julie Harbaugh of Hagerstown, has graduated from the U.S. Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. He qualified as Rifle Expert and his Platoon 110i9 graduated as the Honor Platoon.

Harbaugh is the grandson of maternal grandparents Charles R. and Marlene Itnyre of Falling Waters, W.Va., and paternal grandparents Nelson and Eileen Harbaugh of Hagerstown.
