City Hospital


MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - City Hospital in Martinsburg has announced that Dr. Paul R. Spilsbury has joined its staff.

Spilsbury, a neurologist, is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with added qualifications in clinical neurophysiology.

Partners in Pediatrics


Partners in Pediatrics in Hagerstown has announced Employee of the Month Awards for the last three months of 2000.

The awards recognize dedicated medical secretaries and ssistants including Mary Taylor, October; Tammy Boyd, November; and Tina Whitsel, December.

Hair Cottage


Hair Cottage employees Tonya Haddock, Dianne Fridinger and Elisha Haddock raised more than $1,400 this year for the Craig Wibberly scholarship fund at the Washington County Technical School.

They asked their clients to make a donation to the fund instead of giving them Christmas gifts.

WAFY-FM, Key 103.1


FREDERICK, Md. - Barbara Marmet, president and owner of WAFY-FM, Key 103.1, has named her son, Robert Glen Marmet, to replace her as general manager.

She will remain chief executive officer of the licensee company, Frederick Broadcasting LLC.

Rob Marmet, an Urbana, Md.-area resident, has been marketing director of the radio station since 1998.
