Rene G. Galmiche

Rene Gilbert Galmiche, 81, of 13331 Apple Hill Drive, who died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001, is survived by three grandchildren, Andrew Soulakis of Mount Airy, Md., John Soulakis of Arlington, Va., and Christiana Soulakis of Portland, Ore.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. in Hagerstown, where Friendship Lodge 84 AF & AM will conduct a masonic service at 7:15 p.m.




Ralph M. Brown

Ralph M. Brown, 81, of Concord Street in Hagerstown, who died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001, was the son of the late Mervin C. and Ruth N. Ramsburg Brown.

Conord E. Ahalt

Conord Eugene Ahalt, 75, of 11 W. Baltimore St. in Hagerstown, who died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, is survived by four daughters, Bonnie Wright, Florence Elizabeth Sheppard and Vickie Eileen Barnhart, all of Hagerstown, and Mary Chaney of Sharpsburg.




Mary G. Brandenburg

Mary G. Brandenburg, 77, of 905 Dewey Ave., Hagerstown, who died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by five sisters, Elizabeth Rhodes, Catherine Metz, Blanche Littten, Mildred Morman and Louise Gaylor; and a brother, Theodore Henry Gaylor.




Cheryl A. Reid

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Cheryl Ann Reid, 53, of Martinsburg, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at her home.

Born Dec. 10, 1947, in Arlington, Va., she was the daughter of Dorothy Jane Pflugshaupt Schumacher of Dale City, Va. and the late Edward George Schumacher.

She served in the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Joseph Reid; one daughter, Barbara Ann Dorshimer; one brother, Kurt E. Schumacher of Hyattsville, Md.; and two grandchildren.

Services and burial will be private.

Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg.




Joseph B. Killian

GERRARDSTOWN, W.Va. - Joseph B. Killian, 37, of Gerrardstown, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001.

Born Jan. 6, 1964, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of Bernie Silver of Olney, Md. and Bonnie DaSilva Silver of Anchicta, Brazil.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Kathy Thompson Killian; two sons, Joseph A. Killian and Matthew Killian, both of Ranson, W.Va.; and three brothers, Danny Reacock of Portland, Tenn., Edward Killian of Fort Collins, Colo. and Robert Killian of Budapest, Hungary.

Services and burial will be private.

Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg, W.Va.




Charles F. Hahn Jr.

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Charles F. "Blinky" Hahn Jr., 55, of Martinsburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001, at his home.

He was the son of the late Charles F. Hahn Sr. and Catherine L. Hahn.

He coached baseball; and was a former Boy Scout leader with Pack 82.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth R. Windsor Hahn; two daughters, Candy M. Wetzel and Sarena E. Steerman, both of Martinsburg; three sons, Charles F. Hahn, Christopher A. Hahn and Harry M. Hahn, all of Martinsburg; two sisters, Janet Michaels of Frederick, Md. and Shirley Simpson; a stepbrother, Stephen Hahn; a grandchild, and a cousin.

He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Julia C. Hahn.

Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Rosedale Funeral Home, 2060 Rosedale Road in Martinsburg. Pastor Robert Barnes will officiate.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.




Mary Ellen Wolfe

Mary Ellen "Betty" Wolfe, 81, of 11 W. Baltimore St. in Hagerstown, and formerly of Ashton Road in Clear Spring, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001, at Western Maryland Hospital Center.

Born Sept. 12, 1919, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Russell Edgar and Julia Myres Schildtknecht Reese.

She was a homemaker.

She attended Grace United Methodist Church.

She was a member of AARP.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Richard H. Wolfe Sr.; a daughter, Elizabeth Jane Buckler of Forestville, Md.; two sons, Richard Henry Wolfe Jr. of Greencastle, Pa. and Donald Douglas Wolfe of Clear Spring; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Freda Jane Dofflemyer; and a brother, Norman Eugene Reese.

Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 E. Antietam St. in Hagerstown. The Rev. Robert S. Barton will officiate.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Education Center, 251 E. Antietam St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.




Marie E. Wise

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Marie E. Miller Wise, 89, of 12222 Polktown Road, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, at the home of her son, Jack Wise.

Born June 4, 1911, in Edgemont, Md., she was the daughter of the late Relam F. and Jenie Harbaugh Miller.

Her husband, Paul L. Wise, died June 28, 1995. They were married March 24, 1935.

She had been employed by Waynesboro Knitting Mill as a seamstress.

She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Waynesboro.
