CAMERON, W.Va. - Richard Stotler took first place at 171 pounds as 12 of 13 Berkely Springs wrestlers placed leading the Eagles to a third-place finish Saturday in the 24th Cameron Tri-State Tournament.

Berkeley Springs scored 140 points. Host Cameron won with 223.

Four other Eagles - Matt Rosensteel (125), Chase Andrews (145), Jamie Moore (152) and Josh Clark (189) - lost in the championship finals. Taking thirds were Brandon Clark (119) and Frank Gregg (135). Finishing fourth were Jonathan Rich 9103), Randy Miller (140) and Donnie Stotler (215). Matt Mason (140) took fifth and Nate Koehnen (16) took sixth.

Berkeley Springs also won two of three dual meets on Friday.

Brittany Sirbaugh had six rebounds and five assists, while Stephanie Bracken added four rebounds for the Indians. JV: Berkeley Springs, 46-34 (Amber Simmons 18).

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Jillian McMellen won two events for Hedgesville to offset a pair of relay victories by the Gaels to give the Eagles a dual-meet win at Shepherd College.

McMellen won the 100-yard butterfly (1:29.86) and 200 free (2:46.42), while Candi Whitmore (500 free, 7:32.28) and Miranda Alwin (100 breaststroke, 1:25.99) also won events for Hegesville.

For Goretti, Erin Ryan and Becca Satorius both won individual events and anchored the Gaels 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays. Jen Tolbert was also on both relays.
