Pavilions, parks may be reserved



The Hagerstown Public Works Department will be accepting reservations starting Jan. 2 for city pavilions and parks on a first-come, first-served basis, according to a Monday statement from City Hall.

Reservations can be made by going to the department at 51 W. Memorial Boulevard, Hagerstown, or by telephone by contacting the Public Works Department. Reservations made over the telephone must be finalized within five days.

Some of the park facilities available and the fees are:

HEIGHT="6" ALT="* "> $45 for use of a park pavilion.

HEIGHT="6" ALT="* "> $300 to rent Municipal Stadium for the day, an additional $100 is charged if the field lights are used. If the user cleans up the field immediately after using it, the user will be credited $150.

HEIGHT="6" ALT="* "> $50 to use the City Park Band Shell; non-profit organizations are charged $10 to use the band shell.
