Mail Call for 12/15

"Bush has won the presidency. Since votes were not all counted, I am sure that the ones that voted for Gore are always going to wonder if the votes had been counted, that Gore would have won. I always did say that Bush was afraid that he wouldn't win if all the votes were counted. He was against the recounts from the beginning."

-Hagerstown

"Al Gore won the popular vote and if the truth is ever known, he won Florida. We have been what we call Bush-whacked by his daddy's posse. Which goes all the way to the Supreme Court. They managed to get into the presidency, but look at the cost of Democracy."

"To all bus drivers, open your eyes. If the Board of Education has money to buy new buses, they have money to pay the drivers more money for the responsibility. We need more benefits and better pay. This job is quite a responsibility. It should start out like state employees, like at the correctional centers."

"I want to say that the election is finally over after 34 days, that the citizens now realize that their votes don't count. You should just let the Supreme Court pick the president from now on."

"I am a mother of a retarded child and he loves to go skiing. I cannot afford a pair of skis for him. I have gotten him everything else. If anyone out there has an extra pair, call me at 301-790-2775."

"I see the better man stepped down. Just like your mom always told you. Don't ever start a fight, but don't walk away. It takes a bigger man to walk away, then the one that started. Better man walked away, dropped out, now look at who is going to the White House. Better look out."

"I am someone that took some pictures of the Funkstown Halloween Parade. I took a picture of a father and the little boy that was in the confederate uniform. I would like to give that father the picture. I thought that he would enjoy it. Call me at 301-665-1674."

"Now that we have a Republican president, a Republican Congress and a Republican Supreme Court, what's next? This is Democracy? This is Republican dictatorship."

"At the Kris Kringle craft show at the Ramada Inn this past month or so, there was a lady right inside the door on the right hand side that sold decorated sleds and decorated ladders. If anyone knows where I can find that lady or whether she was local or not, call me at 301-766-4571. I need to have some of them things for gifts before Christmas."

"I watched two trials on TV. The one was O.J. Simpson and the other one was the 2000 election. If this is justice, I want no part of it."

"This year's Holiday Open House, sponsored by North Hagerstown High School. It was just delightful. But whoever was responsible for planning this thing next year, should make sure that that home on Hamilton Boulevard is included on the tour. They have a beautiful home and I am sure that they would want to be included in this event."

"Can someone tell me how this election thing became a civil rights issue? Jesse Jackson, you are outdated my friend."
