LARGO, Md. - Hagerstown Community College could not hold onto its halftime lead in a 65-59 loss at Prince George's

HCC coach Marlys Palmer said the key came in the second half.

"(Brooke) Russ fouled out with about eight minutes to go, then she got a technical and they made their free throws,'' she said. "They didn't take the lead then, but it fueled their comeback.''

Russ, HCC's top rebounder and free-throw shooter, picked up two fouls in the first half and sat down. She finished with eight points.

Emily Middlekauf finished with eight points, nine rebounds and four assists for HC (4-2, 2-2).
