The American Cancer Society sponsoring clinic for female cancer patients

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The American Cancer Society, in collaboration with Summit Cancer Services, is sponsoring a "Look Good Feel Better" session Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 1 p.m. The event will be held at Summit Cancer Services, 260 N. Seventh St. in Chambersburg.

The "Look GoodFeel Better" program is a community-based, free, national service that teaches female cancer patients beauty techniques to help enhance their appearance and self-image during chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

Through practical hands-on experience, women will learn a 12-step makeup program and will be shown beauty tips about hair, wigs, turbans and scarves. To ensure that every participant gets the same working tools, each woman in a group program receives a complimentary box of makeup containing items used in the program.

All of the cosmetics have been donated and are provided free.

For information or to register, call the American Cancer Society, 1-717-264-4412; or Summit Cancer Services at 1-717-262-4660.
