WASHINGTON - Larry Friedman had 23 points and eight rebounds to lead unbeaten Sidwell Friends over St. James 52-41 in a Mid Atlantic Conference game on Wednesday.

Jared Knotts had 14 points, Billy Keyes had 12 points and 10 rebounds and Phillip Scott had eight points and five assists for St. James (1-1, 1-1).

NEW OXFORD, Pa. - Seth Scott hit two free throws with eight seconds left in overtime to cap a 27-point night and seal the Indians' first win of the season.

Josh Carter put Waynesboro (1-3) into the extra session after an offensive rebound basket and converting a steal on the inbounds pass in the last 15 seconds of regulation. Scott finished with nine rebounds despite being in foul trouble most of the game, and Carter added six rebounds, six steals and five assists.
