JLG names replacement for outgoing chairman
McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - JLG Industries Inc. Thursday has announced a management change.
Current president and chief executive officer William M. Lasky was appointed by the JLG board of directors as chairman of the board, effective in February, the company said in a release.
Current Chairman L. David Black plans to retire, officials said.
"Bill has proven himself to be the ideal individual to lead JLG's growth into the 21st century," said Black. "His many years of experience as a senior executive at industrial manufacturing companies have given him a unique perspective on our business."
Lasky joined JLG in December 1999 as president and chief operating officer. He was named president and chief executive officer in September.
