Mrs. Hartnett is the former "Potomac Edison Queen," Rita Jane Martin, daughter of the late Ethel and Harry Martin.
Larry Hartnett is the son of the late Mary E. Hartnett, and is originally from Staten Island, N.Y. He retired from General Motors in June, 1981. He is a World War II veteran, a member of American Legion Post 42 and president of the St. Vincent dePaul Society.
The Warrenfeltzes
Mr. and Mrs. John E. Warrenfeltz of Boonsboro celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, June 11, 2000, with their family at Four Points Hotel Sheraton. They were presented with an anniversary gift of a trip to the Poconos.
They were married July 1, 1950, in Altoona, Pa., by the Rev. Preston Lucas.
Mrs. Warrenfeltz is the former Madeline Hoffman, daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Hoffman. She is a homemaker.
Mr. Warrenfeltz is the son of the late Charles and Margaret Warrenfeltz. He is retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
Their children and spouses are Dennis and Shawen Warrenfeltz, David and Debora Warrenfeltz, Daniel and Paula Warrenfeltz, Daryl and Carole Warrenfeltz, Donna and Wesley Brutcher, and Diane and Bob Leisinger.
They have four grandchildren.
The Wolffs
Mr. and Mrs. Earl L. Wolff Jr. celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000, at a celebration at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert McKinley on Lappans Road. The event was hosted by their son and his wife, Leslie D. and Mary Wolff.
Friends and family attended the event.
They have two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The Clingers
James and Lena Clinger of Hagerstown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, July 1, 2000, at the Fireside Restaurant and Lounge in Hagerstown. The event was hosted by their son and his wife, Dennis and Audrey Clinger.
The Clingers were married July 1, 1950, in Altoona, Pa., by the Rev. Schultzerberger, now deceased.
Mrs. Clinger is the former Lena Vannucci, daughter of the late Nello and Antonietta Vannucci. She was employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Seigo, Pa., and First National Bank of Leesport, Pa.
Mr. Clinger is the son of the late Philip and Alberta Clinger. He is retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Reading, Pa.
The Clingers have two sons, James Clinger Jr. and Dennis L. Clinger. They have two grandchildren.
