How you can show your support

There's another way to show your support for the Wibberley family besides attending the funeral services Saturday: Turn on your car's headlights Saturday and line the funeral procession route.

That is what Gerald N. Minnich, owner of Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, suggests people do. The funeral home is handling arrangements for Wibberley's funeral.

The crowd for the services has been projected to be as large as 500 to 1,000 people.

Maryland Lt. Gov. Kathleen Kenned Townsend will attend the funeral. The governor will be unable to attend, a spokeswoman said.

The funeral procession will travel from St. John's Episcopal Church south on Walnut Street to Park Circle and then south on Virginia Avenue. From Virginia Avenue it will turn left on Wilson Boulevard to South Potomac Street (Md. 65) to Lappans Crossroads, where it will turn left to St. Mark's Episcopal Church.

The funeral services for Craig Wibberley will be at noon Saturday at St. John's Episcopal Church, 101 S. Prospect St. in Hagerstown. He will be buried later that day at St. Mark's Episcopal Church Cemetery, Lappans Crossroads.
