CLEAR SPRING - There are other dynamic duos in the world besides Batman and Robin.

The Clear Spring Blazers' boys' soccer team has got its own version in senior Justin Michael and freshman Drew Holler.

Both Michael and Holler came through with hat tricks to lead the Blazers over the Highland View Academy Tartans 6-1 on Thursday night in a Washington County action.

Besides scoring three goals apiece, Michael and Holler also added one assist each.

"Our dynamic duo of Justin Michael and Drew Holler were in top form," Clear Spring coach Matt Kinman said. "Our dynamic duo is something to watch. How often do you see two players from the same high school team score hat tricks in the same game? I am proud of the way that my kids played. Coming down towards the playoffs, our players are starting to come together and jell as a team."

Josh Springer, Jeremy Everitts and Chris Everitts had one assist apiece for Clear Spring (7-5).

"It seems like the strikers get a lot of the glory, but the midfielders do a lot of the work," Michael said. "We are playing more as a team. Our main goal of the season is to do well in the playoffs. That is what it is all about. We are doing a good job of preparing for the playoffs."

Clear Spring outshot HVA, 41-11.

"Everybody played really hard to get their passes off to Justin and I," Holler said. "Justin and I did a lot of work up front together to finish on a lot of goals. We came out wanting to win tonight to boost our confidence going into the playoffs."

Bobby Pedigo scored the only goal for the Tartans (9-4-2).
