Jamie Blackburn scored off a Garth Semple assist for Mercersburg's only goal.

Shepherd women fourth
CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The Shepherd College women's tennis team finished fourth at the West Virginia Conference this weekend.
For the second straight year, West Liberty dominated the tournament, winning all six singles titles and two of the three doubles championships.
West Virginia Wesleyan was second, followed by University of Charleston.
Three singles players - Krysten Ryder, Katie Benisek and Alexis Lopez - advanced to the semifinals. Jamie Cutright, Leigh Burch and Lisa Miehls were eliminated in the quarterfinal round.
Cutright and Benisek advanced to the semifinals in No. 1 doubles.
COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL
Rams go 2-1 in quad
CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The Shepherd volleyball team went 2-1 at the Regional Quad at the University of Charleston this weekend.
The Rams (25-7) beat WVU-Tech and Concord after a first-day loss to Charleston.
Cassie Leonard had 19 assists, while Mary Carroll had 11 digs and seven kills in the win over WVU-Tech.
Laura Roberts had 15 kills and 10 digs, Nicole Guito had 48 assists and 11 digs and Kim Pirsinio had seven kills and seven digs against Concord.
