Man fair after motorcycle wreck


MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - A 29-year-old Martinsburg man was listed in fair condition at Winchester Medical Center Sunday night after the motorcycle he was riding collided with another vehicle late Saturday night, said Sgt. T.C. Krisik of the West Virginia State Police.

Charles Walker, Jr., 232 Jefferson St., collided about 9:54 p.m. with a vehicle driven by Craig Barrett, 16, 148 Specks Run Drive, Bunker Hill. The accident occurred on State Route 11 near Bunker Hill.

Barrett was not injured.

Man injured in 3-vehicle crash


CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police said one man was injured Saturday in a three-vehicle crash at Exit 6 of Interstate 81.

Police said the accident happened at 1:52 p.m. at the northbound on ramp when Samnang Top, 20, of Schwenksville, Pa., passed a car that was stopped on the ramp and tried to merge with traffic. His Jeep Cherokee hit the rear wheels of a truck driven by James Winters Jr., 25, of Chambersburg.

The Jeep rolled over completely and the truck spun around and went into a ditch, police said. Debris from the crash hit the car that was stopped on the ramp, driven by Thomas Riccione, 55, of Shippensburg, Pa.
