Albright Crumbacker Moul & Itell LLP, an accounting and business consultant firm with offices in Hagerstown and Martinsburg, W.Va., has promoted three employees.

Jason Knode, Lori Mertz and Mary Elizabeth Kleppner were named in-charge accountants.

Knode has been a member of the staff since 1997. Mertz and Kleppner have worked for the firm since 1998.

Franklin County Bar Association

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The Franklin County Bar Association recently welcomed four attorneys to the practice of law with a ceremony at the Franklin County Courthouse.

Clint Barkdoll, of Waynesboro, Pa.; and Melissa Dively, Kimberly Lewis and Tom Trgovac, of Chambersburg; signed the Franklin County Registry of Attorneys before the four judges of the Court of Common Pleas of the 39th Judicial District, which includes Franklin and Fulton counties.

Barkdoll practices with Kulla and Associates in Waynesboro.

Dively is an associate in the Chambersburg firm of Salzmann and DePaulis.

Lewis works with Legal Services, Inc. in Chambersburg under a grant from the U.S. Department of Justice.

Trgovac is an associate in the Walker and MacBride office of Barley, Snyder, Senft and Cohen in Chambersburg.

Orthopaedic Associates of Frederick

FREDERICK, Md. - Quinten M. Davis, an experienced medical practice manager, recently joined Orthopaedic Associates of Frederick as chief operating officer for the full-service orthopaedic practice.

Previously, he was chief operating officer of U.S. Occupational Services LLC, an organization that consults with health systems and large employers about occupational medicine issues.

Avalon Manor Health Care Center

Avalon Manor Health Care Center in Hagerstown named Deb McGuire Employee of the Month for September.

McGuire, of Hagerstown, has worked at Avalon Manor for 20 years in the environmental services department.

Avalon Manor Health Care Center is a 221-bed nursing care facility.

Youngblood Studios

Two prints by Mark Youngblood of Youngblood Studios in Hagerstown were accepted into the General Collection of the 109th International Exposition of Professional Photography.

Youngblood's work was on public display recently at the Professional Photographers of America's international convention, Imaging USA, in Las Vegas.

Youngblood's "Splash of Beauty" and "The Dance" were among more than 3,250 works selected for the exposition by a panel of 50 photographers from the United States and Great Britain.

Chambersburg Hospital

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Wendell Glunt, of Shade Gap, Pa., surgical specialist II, Operating Suite, was Chambersburg Hospital's September Employee of the Month.

Glunt was nominated by his colleagues.

The Longaberger Co.

The Longaberger Co. recognized Dana Ray at its annual convention in Columbus, Ohio, as a 2000 Sales Achiever for generating annual sales of more than $20,000.

Ray, of Hagerstown, received a Bee 2000 framed award and on-stage recognition as one of 2,296 independent sales associates nationwide to achieve that sales level.

Eastern Panhandle Board of Realtors

Wilma Jones and Debbie Hugins were recently installed as directors of the West Virginia Association of Realtors at its annual convention in Morgantown, W.Va. Jones was also elected president of the West Virginia Certified Residential Specialist Chapter. Jones is a past president of the Eastern Panhandle Board of Realtors and was Realtor of the Year in 1999. Hugins is a director of the Eastern Panhandle Board of Realtors.

Rick Pekar was elected to represent West Virginia as a director of the National Association of Realtors. Pekar is a past president of both the Eastern Panhandle Board of Realtors and the West Virginia Association of Realtors.

Marilyn Braithwaite was elected secretary of the West Virginia Certified Residential Specialist Chapter. She is president of the Eastern Panhandle Board of Realtors and was Realtor of the Year in 1998.
