Boonsboro baseball fan scores $100,000



BOONSBORO - A Washington County woman took home $100,000 from the Maryland Lottery after her number was selected during a live drawing at an Orioles baseball game at Camden Yards Friday.

Carleta Griffith of Boonsboro won the top prize of $100,000 in the Maryland Lottery's final Triple Play "Ultimate Fan" contest. The other two contestants, Bruce Dunsmore of Baltimore and Paul Grimes of Columbia, each won $5,000.

Griffith is the sixth winner of the $100,000 prize this season and the 18th in the game's history.
