Greencastle's D.J. Myers took the lead on the second lap and cruised to the Hub City National 150 at the Hagerstown Speedway Sunday.

Marvin Winters won the 25-lap Late Model Sportsman feature. starting from the 11th position and taking the lead on lap five for his 12th victory of 2000.

Richard Brookwalter won the 25-lap Pure Stocks feature, while Sean Dawson won the 15-lap 4-cylinder Pure Stocks race.

BIG SPRINGS, Pa. - Justin Blair and Micah laughlin scored twice, while Josh Meketa added a goal and three asists as No. 2 Greencastle-Antrim defeated Big Springs on Friday.

Justin Blair added a goal and two assists for the Blue Devils (9-2). Stephen Hartt, Scott Yohn and Shuaiming Peng all scored, while Peng added an assist.

MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Per Teigelack scored on a pass from Josh Grahe in the second half Saturday as Mercersburg (3-3-1) earned a tie against Lawrenceville.

Hedgesville wins tourney

HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - No. 5 Hedgesville defeated Martinsburg 15-3, 15-5 in the championship game of the Apple Valley Tournament on Saturday. Jefferson finished in third place, while Clear Spring took fourth.

FREDERICK, Md. -Kelly Ashley had 34 kills, 13 digs and was successful on 86 percent of her serves as Hood (13-6, 3-2 in the Atlantic Women's Colleges Conference) defeated Wilson, Chatham and Bennett, but lost to Notre Dame (Pa.) and Mary Baldwin on Saturday.

Beaver Creek ties for 6th

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - The Beaver Creek Country Club team fired a gross score of 57 in the final round of the 2000 Oldsmobile Scramble National Finals at Walt Disney World, finishing with a total of 234 and in a four-way tie for sixth place in the gross division.

Beaver Creek club pro Dirk Schultz and amateurs Ashley Grier, Andy Henry, Chris Henry, and Dempsey Socks, all from Hagerstown, made up the team.
