Warriors get their revenge vs. Rams

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. - Nate Pendry scored on a 2-yard run in overtime to give East Stroudsburg a 35-28 win over Shepherd College in a battle of unbeaten teams Saturday.

It's the second straight year the two teams have gone to overtime. Shepherd won 33-27 at Ram Stadium last season.

Shepherd had a chance to force a second overtime, but a fourth-down pass from Joel Gordon to Dalevon Smith was stopped for no gain at the 20-yard line to end the game.

The Rams (2-1) jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first half. Jerit Siedor scored on a 2-yard pass from Gordon with 3 minutes, 42 seconds left in the first quarter.

On their next possession, Smith broke free for a 61-yard scoring run.

Shepherd took a 20-7 lead in the third quarter on a Gordon to Jason Dirting 39-yard touchdown pass. But East Stroudsburg scored the next three touchdowns to take a 28-20 lead.
