Mail Call for 9/12

"To the person who wanted the recipe for Poor Man's Crab Cakes: Four cups shredded zucchini or squash, three cups bread crumbs, one tablespoon Old Bay seasoning, one tablespoon mayonnaise and two eggs. Mix all ingredients together, pat into cakes and fry until browned."

"When is someone in this county going to start enforcing some laws on these trucks hauling stuff to the dump? That stuff is supposed to be covered or tied down and most of the time it isn't. A friend of mine had some damage done to his vehicle when a big hunk of metal fell off of it and damaged his car. He couldn't get turned around to get the license plate number, no case! He has to take care of the damage himself and turn it in to his insurance company. There are laws to be enforced and these things are right out in the open."

"I was going through the coupons and I found a portrait studio packet for $3.95. It is a huge packet of pictures. I was wondering why the schools charge so much and you only get a few pictures? I was wondering why the same company always does them. Why don't they bid it out to someone?"

"In response to someone who asked about their rights under the American with Disabilities Act. You might want to call ADA Information Center for the Mid-Atlantic Region at 1-800-949-4232."

"On Friday, Sept. 1, Mail Call was the best I have ever seen. It is practically a whole page. That is what we are looking for. Keep it up."

"We miss WWMD, easy listening radio so much. Does anyone know of another easy listening station in the area?"

"I wanted to comment on the recent violence at the Hip Hop Music Awards. This shows what kind of people are involved in the rap and hip hop world, all they know is violence and they can't even have a music award show without having some kind of violence involved."

"Kate and Lisa, what a beautiful article and two beautiful handsome sons. What an emotional trip on Sunday morning, should bring many rewards in many ways. Thanks."
