Four arrests have been made in connection with an Aug. 24 fire in which a car was deliberately torched in the Pangborn Corp. parking lot, according to Hagerstown Fire Marshal John Hersh.

Each is charged with felony malicious destruction of property, first-degree malicious burning and setting fire to defraud an insurance company, Hersh said.
Conviction on the two fire-related charges carry maximum penalties of five years in prison and/or a $5,000 fine. A conviction on a felony destruction of property charge carries a penalty of three years and/or a $2,500 fine.
