Re-enactors set up camp. No public events.




Saturday, Sept. 9


Camps open to public - 9 a.m.

Historian Steve Stotelmyer speaks on "The Legend of Wise's Well" - Activities tent, 11 a.m.

Hagerstown Community College professor Tom Clemens speaks on "Origins of the Iron Brigade Name" - Activities tent, noon.

Historian Joe Harsh speaks on "The Maryland Campaign" - Activities tent, 1 p.m.

Troops form for battle - 2 p.m.

Battle of Fox's Gap - 3 p.m.; battle ends between 4 and 4:30 p.m.

Camps close to public - 5 p.m.

Candlelight tours of encampment - 8 to 10 p.m. $5 admission.
