Construction courses, seminars offered



Courses and seminars are being offered to construction and maintenance personnel this month at the Cumberland Valley Technology Center in Hagerstown. They include:

- Written crane certification, offered Sept. 11-13 and Sept. 25-27 from 6 to 9 p.m. Test date is Oct. 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

- Basic and advanced certificate blueprint reading, offered Sept. 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28, Oct. 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26, 31, Nov. 7 and 9 from 6 to 9 p.m.

- Refrigerant recovery certification, offered Sept. 9, 16, 23 and 30, 9 a.m. to noon, test date Sept. 30 from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

- Troubleshooting heating, ventilation and air conditioning, offered Sept. 11, 18, 25, Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. (classes held at Washington County Technical High School).

- Fire stop training, offered Sept. 13 from 9 a.m. to noon.

- Lock out/tag out, offered Sept. 20 from 9 a.m. to noon.

- Flagger certification, offered Sept. 20 from 5 to 9 p.m.

- Backflow certification, offered Sept. 29-31, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

- Introduction to Windows 98, offered Sept. 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
