Dr. Joel L. Rosenthal, of Potomac Neurology, recently attended the Vanderbilt University Medical Center's annual clinical neurology symposium on managing various neurologic diseases.
Programs included discussions on headaches, seizures, Parkinson's disease and stroke.
Wright's Stained Glass
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Martinsburg resident Jody Wright, co-owner of Wright's Stained Glass at West Stephen Street and Winchester Avenue in Martinsburg, has received a grant from the state of West Virginia to take a class with Richard Millard, a master in the art and tradition of painting on glass.
The West Virginia Division of Culture and History awarded Wright a Professional Development Grant for Artists.
The program supports artists seeking ways to expand or improve their work.
Jesse E. Hill Jr.
Jesse E. Hill Jr., of 313 N. Mulberry St., Hagerstown, has been accepted by the Diesel Institute of America to further his training as a diesel mechanic. He will begin classes Sept. 20.
The school in Grantsville, Md., has graduated more than 3,700 commercial truck drivers and diesel mechanics.
